Child Development & Youth Leadership Program

  • Enable youth at educational institutions and communities to learn values of democracy, negotiated peace and gender equality through learning environment as well as sports as medium of education and motivation
  • Provide youths with opportunities to express their creative-selves to protect, support and promote diversity, equality and gender justice
  • Contribute towards youth development through research and technical assistance

CDYLP is a mature stage of Child Education Program (1992-2000) and Child Labor Advocacy and Training Program (2000-2001). It is designed to sensitize about and enable children and youth, both male and female, to demonstrate values of peace, gender equality, tolerance and democracy with children while using sports, capacity development and culture of dialogue as medium. The involvement of youth, especially of educational institutions, in activism, is recognition of the fact that they are natural allies and best positioned to effectively change society in fuuristic sense. This program helps Insan to institutionalize the struggle and makes efforts sustainable in financial and programmatic sense.
